Summary

Basically the article I read titled “responding” was a sort of user-friendly guideline for students doing peer editing. I did find some of the tips interesting. For example I remember whenever I used to peer edit someone’s paper in high school I would always get caught up deciding which tone to use, I didn’t want to sound angry or judgmental but I also didn’t want to sugar coat everything because I thought, what good would that do. In this article they gave a tip to simply “sound like yourself”, and I thought this made a lot of sense. Along with a large variety of handy tips of, for example, where to write your comments or how much is ok to criticize.  Over all it was a very well balanced informative article.
